WORKSHOP ON MUSIC

 On 19th February 2024, a workshop was conducted based on Musical strategy to convey different topics of the subjects. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Bhuvanendran Sir. He was really good in explaining different oral musical forms.

 The class started at 10 am in the morning. Our principal Riju John Sir welcomed the resource person for the session. In the morning it was a theory session teaching about how to apply musical strategy in lessons. 

We were divided into different groups with in the same option. In the afternoon session we all prepared a music to teach a lesson from high school . 19 groups were created all group members have to prepare a lesson and teach the portion using musical strategy.

 All the groups performed in a different way some of them have prepared using naadan paatu, cinema parody ootanthullal, vanchipattu ,thiruvathirapattu etc. Our group made lyrics and composed tune. We were the 12 th group. Our song was based on the chapter prisms in standard IX. We composed the music in the form of thiruvaathira song. All the group members performed well.  Resource person judged the performance and awarded marks. Some students reflected their experience from the class.

WORKSHOP ON E-CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

 On 08/2/ 2024, an e-content workshop was conducted on general seminar hall. The resource person for this workshop was Naushad A Salim. He is currently working as Asst Professor in Natural Science department at KUCTE, Kunnam. The workshop started at 10 am in the morning. Our Principal Riju John sir welcomed Naushad Sir.

 At very first he asked to open google lens in our mobile phone and told how to copy a text. After that he taught us many things such as to make e-content, new informations about power point presentations, Hot Potatoes, Quizzz etc.

It was an interactive session. But due to poor network connection there was problem in teaching but some how sir managed the class. It was an excellent session. Atlast Subin Kumar gave a vote of thanks.

WEEKEND REFLECTION-10(LAST)

 After completing the internship of third semester. For reflecting our experience a weekend reflection had organized on college at 29 January 2024 at general hall. The general reflection was from 10am to 11 pm.

Firstly Harinand from SKVHSS Thringanamankal shared the experience regarding the last week . Karthika from SNSMHSS Ellampallor shared their experience and about lost of school days because of kalolsavam. KNMVHSS Pavithreswaram representative was Kavya shared experience of last 3 days. Anu from DVHSS Thalavoor shared overall experience and test conducted. Sandra from Christuraj Kollam reflected experience on training period and activities in school. St Marys Adoor represented by Ashna and shared experience. Aiswarya from GHSS Padanilam shared the school activities and also experience face during practice period. MAMHS Chengamnad representative was Jinsha and shared about students interactions. Megha from MTHS Valakom shared about school activities. SGVHSS Chowallor representative was Sajin and shared experience. MTHS Aarumurikkada representative Fathima shared improvement in teaching. Then MTGHS Kottarakkara shared experiences representative was Arsha,  shared about our school duties and activities in last week. 

LAST DAY OF INTERNSHIP PHASE-1

  Today(24/01/2024) was the last day as a teacher trainee in Marthoma HSS, Valakom of the first phase internship...We gave teachers and students sweets and happily said goodbyes...

CONSCIENTIZATION CLASS

  A conscientization programme based on the topic BASIC FIRST AID was taken on the class 8 B on 23rd January 2024.

WEEKEND REFLECTION-9

 On 20/01/2024 weekend reflection 9 was conducted from 11:45am to 1 pm. 

Firstly Sreedevi and Hajira from GPVHSS Perumungulam shared experience on school and classroom activities. Then Arsha, Aswathy and Gopika from MTGHS Kottarakkara shared about awareness class conducted in school and other activities. Then Aleena and Diya from SGHSS Kottarakkara shared about their school activities . Then Anna Neenu and Nithya from St Marys Kizhakkara shared about school based activity done and other activities and duties. Then Neelu and Jinsu from AEPMHSS Irumpanagadu  , lastly me, Aneetta and Anu from MTHS, Valakom shared about school based activity done and other activities in school.

Reflection ended up at 1pm..
