ONAM CELEBRATION

 Onam is a festival of joy and happiness onam was celebrated in our college on 26/08/2023. It provided an amazing experience.

DEMONSTRATION OF MODELS OF TEACHING

  As a part of B.Ed curriculum demonstration of models of teaching was conducted on 18th of August 2023. Leya and Sreelekshmi demonstrated Inquiry training model and Constructivist model for us.

INDEPENDENCE DAY QUIZ COMPETITION

 Independence day quiz competition was conducted on 15th of August 2023, by the social science department. It was really informative.

SPORTS DAY

 As a part of B.Ed curriculum sports day was conducted on 11th of August 2023, and the chief guest was Balaji.S.Kurup who is a Sub Inspector of police, Kottarakara. Various sports events were conducted on that day.

COLLEGE TOUR

 Trip began with a prayer by Rev.Jacob Father.

On 26/07/2023 an educational tour was conducted by Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education as a part of B.ED Curriculum. A total number of 78 students from different departments and 6 teachers participated in this college tour.

There were two buses for the tour. Tour co-ordinators were Rahul and Harinand from English department..The tour was organized by Kaali holidays Charumoodu

Day 01: Trip started from college, overnight we  travelled to Coorg.

Day02:Early morning we reached Coorg and checked in hotel, after breakfast we proceeded for sight seeing and visited bamboo forest, Harangi dam and Tibetan monastery then we had a night live DJ after dinner stay at Coorg

Day03:Morning we checked out and travelled to Belur breakfast and  in route at Hassan we visited Chennakeshava temple, Belur then visited to Yayatchi dam after that we had lunch and then did Belur water activities. Finally overnight we travelled to Goa.

Day04:Early morning we  reached Goa and checked in hotel and after breakfast we spend some time in the pool and had lunch, after that  we went to Sinquerim fort and after that night at Calangute beach after that we had dinner and overnight stay at resort.

Day05:Morning after breakfast we proceeded for sightseeing, went to Aquada fort after that we went to Anjuna beach then after having lunch we went to old goa church, from there went to Baga beach at night, had dinner then went to sleep.

Day06:Early morning we checked out and travelled towards Murudeshwar, had breakfast in route visited Murudeshwar temple and then had lunch from there, after that we went to Malpe beach, after that we visited Udupi temple then had dinner from Talapady, after that overnight travelled towards campus.

Day07: Around 6pm in the evening we reached Kottarakara jubilee Mandiram.

It was a very nice experience attending an educational tour. It created a lot of memories.

LIFE SKILL WORKSHOP

  On 24/07/2023 a workshop was conducted based on life skill development in Baselios Marthoma Mathews II college of teacher education and it was conducted in the seminar hall. Attending the workshop gave us a good experience. Resource person for this workshop was Adv Sudheer Sir. The session started at 10:30 in the morning. Riju Sir said few words about life skill and importance of life skill development briefly. After a warm welcome Sudheer Sir began the session.The session was very good and it ended at 3:30pm and Subin Kumar gave vote of thanks.

WORKSHOP ON DIGITAL PROFILE AND DIGITAL ALBUM CREATION

 A workshop on digital profile and digital album creation was conducted on 14th of July 2023. We all learned to create a digital profile and learned to upload subject based content on our digital album. It was an informative class.
